3 days, 60 miles

That's right! 3 days and 60 miles!!! That is what I will be walking for the Susan G Komen Foundation on August 3-5th!! I have an inspirational/ motivational meeting in Hudson on Tuesday and am super excited about it!! First off let me say, my husband flat out laughed at me and told me I wouldn't last the first day. Super supportive I know. But if I know my husband he wasn't doing it to be mean but rather to light a fire under my rear end to start training and prove him wrong. AND I WILL! I can register now but to actually participate in the 3 day race I have to raise a minimum of $2300. I am calling out to all of my friends and family to think about sponsoring this chic to walk 60 miles in 3 days. It is for an amazing cause and I have tons of time to raise the money. Do any of you believe in me? Would you be willing to donate to a great cause? I have a savings account I just opened and stuck $50 in to get this fundraising fun started. I will keep a running total on my blog so everyone can see where I am at. Post a comment or send me a message if you want my address to help me raise the funds for a super powerful cause!!! BEST DAY IN A LONG TIME

Well so far today has been the best day I have had in a really long time! My daughter and I are able to spend the day together. We weren't rushing out the door this morning before the sun came up or eating our breakfast in the car because we were running late. We have been laughing and playing and we ran to the store for a couple things where she had me laughing so hard I almost peed my pants. We went to Hobby Lobby and right when you first walk in they have all of the Valentine's day stuff on clearance. There was a hot pink spotted tiger that she pointed out immediately and I told her she could play with it in the cart if she was a good girl for mommy. She wanted to sit in the bigger part of the cart where you put your items instead of where she was supposed to sit but I told her that was fine if she stayed on her tush or her knees and she was super good about it. She was on her knees facing the back of the cart with the tiger propped up as if he was kneeling on the side of the cart too. Every time we rolled past someone in the store she would roar at them super loudly. I was cracking up. And so was the other customers in the store. Which of course made her continue to do it. I told her she had a choice between the tiger or a new art project and she chose the tiger. She is napping with it as we speak.
We are heading out to check out a new daycare this afternoon. Her current one is 15-20 min from my work and since we didn't have a clue where we would end up buying a house at we just chose a daycare that was in between the two of our jobs. But now I have to move her yet again. This one we are checking out is a little cheaper though so hopefully it is awesome!
These kind of days make it very hard to go back to work tomorrow.

NOT FORGOTTEN

Well it has been way too long since I have posted anything!!! Here is a little update on what is going on in the crazy life of the Emch Family. We found and are in process of buying a house!!! So excited! We don't move in until the 22nd of March but it is well worth the wait. Here is a picture of the front of the house. The date on the picture is from 2008 but it hasn't changed at all ( I took it from the listing on the website we found it on).

We have also officially sold and closed the old house in Curtice and are done with that (Thank God!) and Jason just sold his old truck this weekend. Things are finally starting to come together. I have been going through training for my new job on top of my everyday motherly duties. And I am starting to generate more business with Mary Kay out here. I am hoping that my future holds everything I want and I am determined to make it happen. Get me into my new home with my new office and watch me take off!! One day I will run my own business and make my own schedule and will get to spend as much time as I want with my little princess. It will happen for me! It's hard to make it happen from a hotel room though, lol!

I am meeting some pretty amazing women out here and building some new friendships. I am also in the middle of planning little Miss Makayla's 2nd birthday party. I can't believe she is going to be two!!! Her birthday falls on Easter this year so we are having an Easter/ Tinkerbell 2nd birthday party with our families. Nothing big. I have two weeks to get the new house in order before her birthday. Yikes!!

Well I have a list of things I need to do before bed tonight but I promise I will be posting more now that some of the most important things are done out here and I hopefully will have more time.

I NEED A HOUSE

Wow! Way too long since I have wrote a post!!! So here is the latest and greatest here on this end. I started my new job. Meeting some very nice people. It's way different than my old job but I am adjusting. We found a house and put an offer in last weekend but ended up in a bidding war with 2 other people who wanted the house as well and well we lost. So back to the drawing board this week and we have several more houses to go to tomorrow afternoon. We HAVE to find one tomorrow! I NEED A HOUSE!! Living in this hotel is getting to me. The loud people and the stomping around. The limited space to do anything. Having barely a kitchen to make meals in. The dog being cooped up all day in this place. It is all just really starting to take it's tole. I am trying to stay positive but I have had just about enough at this point!!
ANYWAYS...... that's what's up here in a nut shell. So everyone say a little extra prayer for me tonight that we find the house we want tomorrow and hopefully can move in sooner rather than later. Thanks!!!!!!
